Cancelling shows you the math first
The cancel page tells you exactly what happens before you confirm anything: what you paid, what comes back, and why. No surprises after the click.

The rules, plainly.
- The cancellation fee schedule
- Cancel more than 24 hours out: no late fee. On today's bookings you still get back everything except the card processing cost we already spent taking your payment, about 3% of the total. Cancel 2 to 24 hours out: a $30 fee on top of that. Cancel inside 2 hours, or after the job has started: a $50 fee. Every fee is capped at what you paid, so you never owe more than your total. On today's bookings, if your shop hasn't accepted yet your card was only held, never charged, so cancelling releases the hold and nothing comes out of your account. A few older bookings were charged in full at checkout instead, and those follow the policy that was live when you booked. Sales tax always comes back in full. Your cancel page always shows your exact numbers before you confirm, and the full policy has every detail.
- Provider cancellations make you whole
- If your provider cancels on you, you get every dollar back. Always.
